This condition rarely causes serious medical problems but is a common cause of anxiety for the affected. Various beauty care products are emerging from this justifiable need. These products are made for anyone since stretch marks are so common. You, your pregnant neighbour, your 15-year old niece, or your partner can have them. It happens more often to women than men. In fact, about 70% of adolescent women and 90% of pregnant suffer from stretch marks at some point in their lives.

For women, having stretch marks is highly inevitable since pregnancy is one of its main causes.  Rapid weight changes, puberty, and genes are also possible agents. It’s true that these marks can be a stressor but it doesn't mean there is no remedy. There are many ways to say goodbye to these marks and say hello to your bikini body. Homemade Remedies

Treating your stretch marks doesn’t need to be costly. Organic materials at your home can be an affordable and accessible solution.

Potato Juice

Potatoes contain vitamins and minerals that promote the growth of new skin cells and can also hydrate your skin.

Chop a fresh potato into thick slices. Then rub the potato over the stretch mark for a few minutes. Finally, remove the potatoes and wash the surface with lukewarm water.

Sugar

Sugar acts as a natural exfoliant with a dual function: removal of dead skin cells and growth of new cells.

Combine two tablespoons of white sugar, lemon juice, and natural olive oil. Mix properly and apply on the marks.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera contains antioxidants that could hydrate and protect the glamour skin.

Take some organic aloe gel. Dab the gel over the affected surface. Allow the gel to dry then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Olive Oil

Olive oil contains high squalene contents which smoothen the skin.

Take three teaspoons of olive oil then heat it in the microwave until the oil is lukewarm. Massage the warm oil into the marks.

Castor Oil

Castor oil contains a high amount of fatty acids that smoothes and softens the skin. Apply castor oil into the affected area. Gently rub it for thirty minutes before washing it off.
